All Mihogo e-bikes and their individually covered parts are protected for one year after receipt of the e-bike, the specific warranty covering your Mihogo bike is governed by the laws of the state or country in which it was purchased and is only available for purchases from authorized Mihogo retailers or directly from Mihogo.

This limited warranty covers only the original owner of the electric bike purchased from Mihogo's online or brick-and-mortar storefront. After reviewing our warranty policy, please feel free to contact us if you think you have a warranty claim. You can contact us at support@mihogo.com

Limited Warranty Terms

All new electric bicycles ("E-Bikes") and their essential components sold by authorized E-Bikes retailers are warranted to the original retail purchaser against manufacturing defects in material and/or workmanship of all electrical components for a period of one year (1) from the date of retail purchase.

This warranty applies to any essential e-bike component found to be defective, provided that the product is used in a standard and controlled manner and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual. Basic components include the bike frame, motor, battery, display and controller.

This limited warranty does not suggest or imply that the bike will not be damaged or will last forever. This does mean that the bike is covered by a limited warranty. This limited warranty applies only to the original owner of the Mihogo bike and is not transferable to subsequent owners. This limited warranty is void if the bicycle has been subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, accident or other abnormal, excessive or improper use. Damage from normal wear and tear, including damage from fatigue, is not covered. Fatigue damage is a symptom of frame wear and tear from normal use. This is normal wear and tear and it is the owner's responsibility to inspect his/her bike. Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance or the installation of parts and accessories that are not compatible with Mihogo bikes is not covered by the warranty. All labor costs for warranty service are the responsibility of the bicycle owner. If shipping is required for the processing of a warranty claim, any such shipping costs are the responsibility of the bicycle owner.

The limited warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of defective lithium-ion batteries ("batteries"), frames, forks, stems, handlebars, seatposts, brakes, lights, bottom brackets, cranksets, rims, hubs, motors, throttles, Controller, Wiring Harness and LCD Display (each a "Covered Component").

This limited warranty does not cover

⦁ Normal wear and tear of any covered components.

⦁ Consumables or normal wear parts (including but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housings, handlebars, chains and spokes).

⦁ due to failure to follow the instructions in the E-bike user manual, force majeure, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alteration, modification, improper assembly, installation not intended or compatible with the electric bike sold, operator error, water damage, extreme Riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.

⦁ For the avoidance of doubt, Mihogo is not responsible and/or liable for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.

⦁ Battery damage due to power surges, improper charger use, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear and tear or water damage is not warranted.

⦁ Corrosion of electrical components is not covered under warranty. Contacts on batteries and other electrical components should be wiped dry to prevent corrosion and oxidation . If desired, an electrical contact cleaner can be used to keep the connections clean. In extreme weather (for example, in neighborhoods with salinized roads in winter), you can apply battery terminal grease as a precaution.

⦁ Any non-electric bike product sold by Mihogo.

Determining whether damage or defect to the e-bike or covered parts is covered by this Limited Warranty shall be at the sole discretion of Mihogo.

Is my second-hand Mihogo bike covered under warranty?

Unfortunately, the warranty coverage provided by Mihogo is only valid for the original buyer of the bike. This means that if you purchased a second-hand Mihogo bike, you will not be eligible for warranty coverage. It's important to consider this factor when purchasing a second-hand bike.

Will Mihogo cover the cost of repairs if I crash my bike?

No, unfortunately, the warranty provided by Mihogo does not cover damages incurred from collisions or accidents. The warranty is specifically designed to cover manufacturing defects, not damages that occur from regular usage or unexpected incidents.
