Bought a pair of these so I could introduce ebike riding to my spouse, and we could start to ride together. The portable nature of these folders made it possible to plan to drive them to a safer area to practice riding and getting comfortable. These are solidly constructed e-bikes, with smooth battery consumption for decent speeds. The brakes worked well. I found the included seat to be somewhat uncomfortable, and had to purchase a different one for the long rides I’m interested in. The helmets included were too much helmet for these bikes. I wish I could have opted out of getting them. The display is perfectly adequate, and works well. The seat shock absorber is not great.
One of the best things about these bikes are the included wheel size. 4” fat tires are ubiquitous, and useful for absorbing a lot of bumps. However, it bulks up even folding bikes to the point of heavy unwieldiness. The 2.4” wheels are good compromise between portability and comfort. A little known fact is that Amtrak will not carry 4” fat tire bikes in their bike holds. You can take the wheels off and stow them as cargo, but that is incredibly inconvenient. These bikes can fold up and be carried straight on train as personal baggage. They don’t fit all bike holds’ racks but do fit some. 2.2” is technically the max size. I suggest Mihogo in future iterations sell 2.1” wheel width versions. Panasonic batteries are top notch.
